md,
I can tell you this much, it is now May 16th and PPX members are still waiting for the hyped up May 14th event. It's supposed to be a new release of eXpod gold-lite edition renamed to reflect the PPX name change. At least that is the buzz in the community.
I'll keep everyone posted.

AS MC said the event was on May 14th. Goo ammended the accounts of donating members so that those running 6.1 could recieve the reg. code needed for the upcomming release of R3(PPX-lite). it will be released as an update to 6.1 and bring the Expod project up to the height of it's current developement. We don't know when the release will come. But it should be reasonably soon. Goo is dealing with Family Issues right now and has more important things both on his mind and to do. hang on...be patient....and it will come.

Man Goo really messed it up. IT was so much better and fair when it was all free. I mean what if you don't have the money to donate? I don't, because I'm saving for a axim, bu after I buy that I will donate.

as i understand it....Goo's M.O has always been to release to (donating) members first and then at a later date to the general public. 6.1 is available to the public. the R3 update will not be (at least for now). I still use 5.1 (though I have both Gold and 6.1 archived) it works wonderfullly for me and I will happily update when R3 is out.

Actually, I've gone back to KCIIMenu. ExPod Gold looked great (and I love the today screen), but ate up so much memory I couldn't load QuickView (which I actually like)...and it was getting a little slow about opening things, so I shelved the Gold....mainly liked the look and the Today screen.
I liked 5.1, but without a today screen, I forgot about too many appointments and ended up using a paper calendar until Gold came out. I hope the Lite version is less of a memory hog -- I don't need all the bells and whistles -- just the Today screen -- and I love the look of ExPod....

not in my experience. I had to do numerous resets and never had a problem. Perhaps it occurs if you have it running when you do a reset?
